Questions parents ask
Is it a printed book?
Not yet, it’s digital: read it on a phone, tablet or computer, and print the PDF at home or at a print shop. A printed hardcover is in the works but not available yet.
How long does it take? Will it be ready for the birthday?
Yes, even the same day. The free Preview is usually ready in 2–3 minutes and we email it to you, so you can close the page. After paying, the whole book usually arrives within a few minutes. Nothing ships, so there’s no wait for delivery.
Do I need a photo of my child?
No. A few words about how your child looks are enough. If you add a photo, it is never public: we use it only to draw the portrait and delete it as soon as you approve one, or within about a day if you don’t. Only the drawing stays.
How much does it cost?
The Preview is free, no card needed. The whole book is $14.99, paid once: no subscription, no account, just your email. The audiobook is an optional $4.99.
What if I don’t like something?
If the portrait isn’t right, ask for a new one before the Preview is made. You only pay after seeing the cover and first pages. After buying, you can fix the text on any page yourself, like a typo or the name of a favourite toy. Changed your mind? You have 14 days to withdraw, no reason needed: email orders@minibooks.ai and we’ll refund you.
What ages is it for?
2 to 10. You give the exact age and the length, words and plot follow it: short rhythmic lines for a two-year-old, a real adventure for a ten-year-old.
Can siblings be in the same book?
Yes, up to three heroes: siblings, a cousin, a friend or the dog. Each gets their own portrait and looks the same throughout the book.
How do I give it as a gift?
After paying you get a private link and a PDF. Send the link to the family by text, WhatsApp or email: it opens on a phone, nothing to install. Your own dedication can go on the first page.
Can the book be read aloud?
